I cooked for three hours yesterday and made enough food for a month (I live alone, and these recipes make a lot - my freezer is full!).  They are both soooo good.  I added a lot of Frank's red hot sauce to the chili because I am obsessed with Franks and it was delicious.  I highly recommend them.  Thanks Elina!  I plugged the ingredients into Livestrong and here's what it says (per serving - about 1/2 cup per serving) for anybody else who's interested: Very healthy and yummy!

I am so glad you liked them.  I lived on these from about the end of the second month to goal.  I loved how filling they are and that I could always get more without feeling guilty because the calorie count is so very low.  They are on my profile and I hope they work for you the same way they did for me.  I always had one or another or both in my refrigerator.  Enjoy!

I sometimes put a dollop of low-fat sour cream into my bowl, it just makes it that much yummier.

I just realized how ironic this whole thing is.  Before surgery, I always pushed food onto people, as in "try my great new stuffed cabbage, or beef strogonoff or whatever", now after surgery, I am still pushing food on people only it's healthy food.  Nothing really changes.  :)
