Oh if I had a friend with a boat, I went to the lake and watching all the people on the boat made me relize how much fishing from the bank sucks!

Dude, if you find a buddy with a boat I'm down the join the fun.
My heart is all mine and my mind is free. That's all the revolution; revelation that I need.

We own a home a block from a lake... Bought a cheapo boat for $250 and put it in the water. Started the motor and blew it up!! Ugh... I just want those bass that are just outta reach of my casting!! Good luck in finding a boat... And don't blow it up!

I just sold my 20' Skeeter....I got tired of fishing and the expense of maintenance...boats are a money pit...much cheaper just to pay a guide to take you fishing...on the lakes that are close to where I live, there are plenty of great guides who are reasonably priced. With a $500 a month note, $200 in gas for a weekend, average of $1000 a year in various maintenance...$300 for a day a few times a year is worth every penny...

Edit: I just noticed in my avatar pic I'm wearing one of my Skeeter shirts....I do kinda miss my boat...just not the expense...
