6 Months w/Pictures

Today marks my 6 month surgiversary! On the morning of November 11, 2010, I weighed 290 pounds. A couple of months before that I weighed 299.5 pounds (not going to round it off-not even for a million dollars)! As of this morning, I weigh 231.8 pounds. I haven't been this weight in at least 10 years. I'm very ecstatic and proud of myself. I have a goal to get to 225 by my high school reunion on June 4. That gives me 22 days to lose 6 pounds. I think it's possible. If I don't get there, I will definitely not be upset because this time I KNOW I'll eventually get there.

I have gone from a size 24 pants to a 16. My hips have went from 59" to 50" and thus I have the disease "noassatall." I think I'm going to have to get some butt pads so I can fill out my damn jeans! Anyhow...if you aren't sure, DO IT!!! It's so many pros that outweigh the cons.

Thank you! Not hard - but not real easy. Just follow your surgeon/NUT's instructions to a tee and the weight WILL come off! Your mind will play games with you but if you curse it out enough, it will leave you alone most times!
