So...today will be starting day 7 of my 2-week preop diet, preparing for surgery next Tuesday! Whoo Hoo!! So far, I'm down 11 pounds since this passed Tues morning! I'm shooting for 11 more hopefully! 

This liquid diet things has not really been as bad as I thought. Don't get me wrong, It's been hard, but still bearable. I survived a huge family picinic and a graduation party yesterday, without cheating and without balling my eyes out! lol  I just took along some pudding & applesauce, and some flavored protein water drinks. 

Some things I have been eating for my liquid diet....
- tomato soup
- applesauce
- s/f pudding
- s/f jello w/protein powder mixed in (I have been using the BariWise fruit drink mixes YUM)
- chocolate protein shakes (sometimes mixed with PB2 powder)
- Propel Zero
- Minute Maid Lite Lemonade (w/lemon razzy protein powder)
- some of my choc protein shakes I use Slim Fast cans & add an extra scoop of choc Whey protein powder, just to add some more grams

So overall, it's not as horrible as I thought. I have some tummy grumbling, a few light headaches, but not too bad.

All in a days work, getting ready to be Sleeved & to start Rockin it!!!

Congratulations, you are doing great! Youseem to be preparing yourself in a perfect way. I am 6 days post op and you are describing my diet exactly.  The only thing different is I have to eat so slowly I have trouble gettting enough protien in. My pain was much less than I imagined.  You will do great!!!!!  The day of my surgery I walked 2 timed without assistance. Day 1 post op I walked 8 times.
