Hahahaha… umm hun…. my insight is not based on any facts… just so ya know… and I prefer men bigger so please please seek a second opinion.. hahahahaha Dr. Jen… is well kinda full of ******g ****! But ya, 170 little waffle… then you could borrow my dresses… not so sexy.. well kinda sexy I guess in the drag circuit!
I'm not quite to my original goal and Dr Cirangle moved my goal down 5 lbs to 120 as I got closer to it. Personally, I'd be afraid to stop a little higher than my goal. I read about so many people not getting to goal, and their regain after starting to eat more normally.
I want to be thin, not just thinner than I was. I'm worried about regain so will use this 'honeymoon phase' to get as low as I can until my body stops losing. From what other shared, the remaining fat will shift around and level out so my face will not look so thin, I hope. I can still pinch enough fat to want to continue losing a little more.
Good luck in your decision. I found that snacking on full fat cheese helps me maintain my weight, so I had to cut that out for now. I'll add it back in once I get to my goal.

Big hugs Jen!!
Nice to see a post from you!! I think you look phenominal and I hold little respect for the BMI chart's advised weight. I think it's just too broad of a range and doesn't take enough specifics into account.
This is something I'm struggling with as well. I'm 5'5" and I had picked 150 as my goal weight, but I'm thinking that may be a little low. I am already taking a med or large shirt, and 14 or 12's for pants.
I had a pinch test done at the gym and it said my target weight should be 166. I'm big framed and always have been. I have big feet, big hands and wide shoulders.
I have been fighting my way through a stall and it almost seems like my body wants to stay at 190ish.
I'm hoping I continue to lose, and I guess I'll see where I end up.
take care of you,
Heidi

Although I am short -- just a tad under 5'3" my surgeon told me that based on his experience, and my metabolism, how I have been losing weight, my age (55 years young) and the severity of my arthritis, that my body will probably allow me to lose down to about 170 -- which still puts me as being overweight; but actually was the weight that I was my most comfortable at some 30 years ago. My PCP just wants a BMI number -- one I don't think I could ever achieve....
I do think that our goals seem so far off at the outset of our journey, and we have to be realistic about meeting them as we move through this journey. If plastics are in your future, you WILL lose some weight with skin and tissue removal; which will ave to be countered by the natural bounce back weight post losing phase....as always, it will be a balancing act !!!and one that will continue for each of us.

well you got some good advice....cool thing is......if you lose too much you can gain some back....if you are still not happy with where you currently are....you can lose more! Simply....right?....You are in control...baybee!
BTW...If you get waff in a dress...."pics or it didn't happen!" ha ha ha !

I have zero feedback on the goal question since I'm not there yet. But I just wanted to say that your legs look so good and smooth. My legs are about the same size as yours (well, maybe a tad bigger...) but they are so bumpy. I can only wear shorts that go down to my knee. Really limits my options. For my bathing suit, I have to wear a tankini top with some Nike shorts. And, still my legs look bad but I can't exactly wear capris in the pool! I'm just hoping they continue to slim up and smooth out in the next few months. I'd hate to be stuck with these drumsticks forever!
