How many nights were you in the hospital after sleeve?

Hi everyone.....my day is almost here and whew are the nerves kicking in. I have lost 11 pounds on the pre-op diet and Im only on day 6! My surgeons office gave me a book full of information and it says in there one night for sleeve but I thought my doc said 2 nights. How many days did u stay in hospital?

Hi, I was also told one night but ended up staying two due to nausea.....I had to be
able to keep liquids down first.... I wish you the best..

I haven't had surgery yet, am getting nervous too! My date is 7/6. Anyway, when I met with surgeon, it sounded like he likes to keep people in two nights, very rarely does he let patients go home after one night.

Overnight - just about 24 hours.

One night for me, too!

each doctor has their own plan.  one i went to plans on one night, mine plans on 2.  i actually ended up staying 3 because i hadn't passed gas yet...that gave me the 3rd night.  that was just fine by me.  :)

I was in about 36 hours, felt good, they took away the morphine so i went home!

I didn't stay a night.  But I surgery was super early in the morning, so maybe that had something to do with it.  good luck!!!!
