Surgery 6.28.2011

I just broke my little toe...will it delay my surgery scheduled for 6.28.11?  During pre-admission testing doc said I needed to be healthy for surgery...such as no colds, rash or anything.  I know my question is stupid- but I had to ask.

I would not think that would stop your surgery. 2 cents worth.

I am pretty sure the answer t that question is no. I got sleeved on Friday and I startig getting a cold and bad allergies last Monday. My doctor told me as long as I did not have a fever and alot of coughing I was fine. I think you are ok for surgery!!!

I feel your pain cause I've done that before!!  I dont think it would delay your surgery, however, I would think that the walking may be problematic, especially when you need to be moving around to get things back to normal...   thats my non-medical take!

Thanks.. it doesn't hurt too much to walk so I think I should be ok..
