I have a DATE...

Surgery coordinator called yesterday and gave me a date of JULY 19, 2011...I will be doing my preops on 7 July and see Dr. Seger that day.  I am sooooo excited, although a little weary...don't like pain, but with the Grace of God, I can overcome it all.

Correction, surgery is July 18...I just got all the pre-op instructions.  A liquid diet two weeks prior...I'M HUNGRY ALREADY!!...Not really.  Having preops on 6 july, phyisican appt on the 7th and surgery on the 18th of July.  WHOOP, WHOOP!

So, why are you mad?

Not mad...very happy, just hit wrong face.

Just as a word of hope... I didn't have hardly any pain.  I stopped taking pain meds on the second day.  They gave me a morphine drip while at the hospital but really didn't need it.  Hope it is the same for you, if not easier. 

 

Congrats. I didnt need any pain meds on mine. Only had a 3 on the 10 scale at most and it was pretty much gone by discharge date. 2 days. Good luck and it will b edone before you know it and start on your journey.
