Alleve

 I just took one Alleve and i'm worried. I took it with food. Have you had any bad or ok experiences with it? Surgeon said it should be ok but now my tummy is making noises. 

I've taken every OTC NSAIDs on the market, along with some 800mg RX Ibuprofen, without issue since being about 6 weeks out.

Same here, I was on some powerful pain pills for a couple years post op..My stomach is fine!

Whatever you do, don't take Vicodin!
Put me in the ER for 6 hours of Friday.  I have never had stomach pain like that in my life, plus it put me in a-fib.  It was bad because it absorbed so darn quick!  I had never had any problems before, so not sure what happened there!
Hope you are feeling okay with the Aleve,

I switched from 800mg Ibupropren to Alieve after my VSG, but my doc also gave me an Rx for a combo of vicodin and Valium for those days when the pain is really bad.

I have not had any issues with the meds at all.

 Thanks. I survived. I took Tylenol for the past year. Well it's crap as we all know, but luckily I didn't have much pains this past year. I just had a minor foot surgery and knee injury at the same time! So there's no way I wasn't taking something else.
