Good weight training program?

Ok, so I do great with "programs".  I thrive on things like the Couch to 5K app :)  I have a VERY hard time fitting weight training into my excercise routine.  I feel like I just don't have the time to fit it in.  When I'm at the gym, my priority is to do 30-45 minutes of cardio.

So, that being said, do you know of a program or app that will help me get started on a weight training program?  For example, maybe week one  you do 2 excercises, week 2 you do 3, etc?  I'd like to start small and build up to a "normal" amount of weight training.

Thanks!

I workout at a gym but you certainly don't need to weight lift at a gym.  All you need are some hand weights and you can do several exercises right at home.  Here is a great website that I use when I am working out at home.  http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/diet-fitness/information/weight-lifting-for-women.htm

You can also split your time up.  Just do 20 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weights.  I've read plenty of articles and books that says weight lifting is better for you because muscle is more metabolic.  Anyway, just start small and continue to add.
