I second that "thanks!"  Learned so much here; what to do, what NOT to do, and what to watch out for if you go ahead and do it anyway!!!

Thanks for the post, Susan.

this forum is what really got me going and helped me through all the long wait I had before surgery. since i live in a remote area there was not much other information and support. this was it and its so great. someday you will "pay it forward" after you have had your surgery you can help others. thats how it seems to work here and its so great. Diane

I agree, I haven't been sleeved yet either, but plan on it within the next couple of months and I would never have had the courage to do it without everyone here!   I have learned so much and am so grateful for each and every one of you!!

I can't agree with you more!
This site has been my support system, my teacher, my solution center especially right after I came home post-op. I was home 24 hours after surgery, in pain, and realized just how little useful information I was provided during the pre-op training classes. I came here to OH trying to find a solution for the excessive gas pain in my torso and was given several excellent  solutions by the OH members. From that moment I was hooked and check in pretty much daily.
See you on the loser's bench!... Craig
