Low Carb cracker finds!

Hi Friends,

I am almost 6 weeks out and I am now able to have crackers with my chicken/tuna/egg/ham salads.   My surgeon said to start with saltines and go from there.  Well I am moving up!  I found 2 great new finds....

1.) wheat thins flatbread- garlic/parsley - yummy- they are long flat crackers - serving size is 2.  Here are the stats... 60 cals, 1.5 fat, 12 carbs, 2 sugars, 1 protein.  

2.) townhouse flipsides pretzel/crackers garlic herb.  serving is 5 crackers...70 cals, 33.5 fat, 9 carbs!!!, less than 1 sugar, 1 protein.

these are great and help me get that cruch factor - most crackers have 20 plus grams of carbs.  So I was very excited to find these.  All I had to do was read the labels!!

if you can find 34 Whole Grain Ultrathin Crispbreads for 9 thin crackers they have 34 calories, 7 carbs, 1 protein and 1 fiber  I found them at vons in california :) thanks for the info on yours. adding to my list

I like Nut-thins. A serving size is 16 crackers (not too small) and they have 24g/carbs and 3g/protein.

If I eat them, I can usually only eat 4 so its like 6 g carbs.

To lower carbs even further, you might want to try Cheese Crisp (which you can make at home). But I purchase them at Fresh Market----basically baked cheese and herbs. Made by Kitchen Table Bakers.   3 crisps ---80 cals---2 g Total Carbs---6 g protein....Very crunchy

Those sound yummy. Haven't seen here in Canada. Do you have the recipe and would you share please if you do?
I'm not at that eating stage yet, but it's good to be prepared.
