Coverage?
This is a little trick that my Bariatric surgeon shared with me regarding how to play the insurance game........
If you ever have any area of skin breakdown related to excess skin.... go to you primary care doctor and have them #1 document it and #2 write you a prescription for something (nystatin, some cream etc. )
That way it is NOW a MEDICAL condition not a COSMETIC issue. Greatly increasing your chances of insurance coving surgey for excess skin removal!
Hope this Helps..... and hope it works when I need it!!!

I know my insurance (Tricare) requires a recurring infection issue because of the excess skin. usually 3 times is enough and I have a friend who had it paid for after the 2nd. Basically go to the Dr. for any little skin irritation in the area. I laughingly told my surgeon I just wasn't going to wash of course.
