Home from surgery (10/6), doing GREAT!

I had my surgery on 10/6, which was a take-down of a Nissen Fundaplication with Sleeve. Dr. was doom and gloom on everything that could go wrong (he didn't know I had prayer warriors on my side) and he was pretty amazed at how easy the surgery went. Dr. kept me 5 days total in the hospital, with a drain, to be safe. I feel great, not overdoing. So far I can get in about 45 to 55 oz of water per day plus some jello, soup and protein. Not too bad! No upset tummy, no more real pain (just a little discomfort). I feel exceedingly grateful that all went so well. Now on to my new life.

Oh, I've lost 8 lbs, even with the swelling!

 Hi Carlen- I was glad to read your post because Iget sleeved on 10/31 and have exactly the same amount of weight to lose--so I'll be following your post and progress.  I've got all the standard worries, but really excited about getting the procedure done!  -Maria
