2+ months out...and my skin is SO ITCHY!!!

Is anyone else having this problem? I know it's getting colder (here on the East Coast)...but it doesn't seem like the same itchiness that comes w/ dry skin. Does it have anything to do with our diet??? Just wondering if this is just one of the things that comes w/ the VSG operation OR if this is something I should see my dermatologist for. :)

Just a guess...but if you are not getting enough hydration, your skin becomes drier and you can be itchier...even besides the chillier weather...
Also we don't get as much fat in the diet and that may have something to do with it...

But my skin is itchy frequently, but I always have dry skin...I don't think that the VSG has had any impact either way....

I have gone through a few spells of this. I spoke to my doctor and she chalked it up to diet changes and the skin shrinking. Anyhow she recommended Eucerin or some other heavy cream (not lotion) - I have been using the Target brand of Aveeno Oatmeal based cream and it has helped alot.
