had surgery on the 13th
Hi there,
I too was sleeved on the 13th. I'm still in the hospital so all I've been given for the past six days (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) is protein chicken broth, low cal sorbet, hot tea, and pure protein. I can't stomach the pure protein and I don't like tea so I've pretty much been living off of my potassium chloride IV. I'm surprised that you're still on clear liquids. It seems you should be able to have light yogurt and milk based protein shakes. Just hang in there...it'll be over soon.

I have been getting soups with clear broth and straining them. I had some of the progresso soups broth that were very yummy I am on clear liquids as well. Sticking to water, Crystal light, protein drinks, popsicles, teas and random strained soups.
I did try the sweet and sour soup- but the restaurant I got it from made it too spicy and thick, so I skipped that. I had a vegetable soup and wonton strained w/o issues.

yeah, I am also noticing quicker restriction on the broth vs teas, water etc. I get a slight feeling that it's either now going down quickly enough, or it may come up -I still can't finish the broth from a progresso soup I strained last night LOL. I take about 2-3 baby spoons and take breaks in between. On the good side, at least it satisfies my head hunger and my need for some flavor.
