I took off one week. It was enough for me. I am a teacher and so it is often more work to plan for a replacement teacher than to do it myself. Physically I was good, not to tired, just took it slow if I needed to and sat when I felt the need.
I had my surgery 10/5 and due to go bck to work on monday the 24th and i am fine ... no complications no issues energy level comes and go started using treadmill at 6 days out for 30 minutes... today i bumped it up to 1 hour ... I was tired took a nap and now im good to go.. good luck!!
