Monday is the day for me to say bye to my ugly ugly stomach skin. talked to the surgeon he is doing the T incision on me to pull up my back fat and to be able to remove fat. I am scared to death but willing to do this. was told the pain is so bad I hope he is wrong.

I go in Monday at 9:30 operation will be round 11:30. Excited and scared.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

you were strong enough to make it through the sleeve surgery and  losing over 100 pounds - you are STRONG enough to make it through plastic surgery!!  sending you postive thoughts.

wishing you all the best of luck!

You will do fine. Just think positive and the outcome 3 months down the road! I still have a year out (Dr. Said I will losing up to 18 months out, I'm only 7 months out) before I can even think about my TT! Good luck to you!

yes my back with the T he pulls my back up and he told me he removes alot of UN needed fat sounds sick to me. I am taking pictures tomorrow of the me now lol. I will post them but should I post them now or side by side after a few weeks?

as for brave if the insurance did not pay for this it would not be getting done. Believe me I have been thinking of canceling it. I am so scared of the pain.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

i had a fleur de lis TT in march (i called it my "T-section")...    i am not at goal, but i had to have my gall bladder out, so my wls doc did the full TT at the same time -- and got my insurance to pay for it!  woot.

it is healing nicely, the scar is starting to fade a bit...  i have some residual numbness in the skin, mostly on the left side..  as the nerves regenerate, i occasionally get a burning or sometimes itching sensation in the skin there, but it's getting better...  he trussed my stomach muscles up pretty tight, so i'm still working on getting them to relax a bit...  it affects my posture -- i have to remind myself to stand up straight, even though i feel the muscles stretching...

it probably would have been better to wait, but i actually feel pretty good about it...  they took 10.6 lbs of skin off the front of me, and now i have a rockin' hourglass figure, which did wonders for my self esteem....

just take your pain meds and muscle relaxers and follow your post-op instructions and you'll be fine...

My vsg hurt 1000 times more than I had prepared myself for and all I did was read and obsess over it for months and months before my surgery, BUT I would do it again in a New York minute!! lol  If I could hop on that table and get a tummy tuck right now knowing the pain, I would do that too!  I'm happy for you, if not a little jealous ;)  .....but mostly happy!  It's a wonderful opportunity, and the pain will be over after a short time, but you will be rocking that new body for the rest of your life!!  Enjoy it and best wishes!
