Hey everyone!

I'm 6 weeks out tomorrow, down 27.6 lbs and feel great.  I am attending a wedding on Nov. 26 and want to get some kind of spanx undergarment.  It will also be the first time that I see a lot of people since my surgery and it's also...my 50th birthday!!  Any suggestions for comfortable all over compression garments so that I can look my very best?
Thanks!

I love my spanx and/or body toning clothes.  I wear  them all the time.  At first, they seem really weird feeling but you get use to them really quick.  You can also get Assets from Target which are a little cheaper.  They are all well worth the money.

I honestly hate the brand Spanx, but I can tolerate the Dr. Rey brand that is available at Sears. I only have one pair of the bottoms that extend from just above the knee to just under my bra line, and I wear it with slinky dresses. Spanx never felt "breathable" to me, and I just wasn't impressed with the quality after they were washed, even just handwashed.

Target sells a lesser constrictive brand of Spanx made my the same company, and I haven't tried them, but have several friends who LOVE them.

I do have 2 of the cami tops that I purchased at Sam's club for $20 for both. They have the bra cut out so I can wear my own bra, and I wear them under super tight sweaters and when I want to avoid the bumpiness with slinky material. They give just enough compression yet don't make me feel like I'm wearing a major fat sucker inner thingy. HA

I love my Spanx! For top control, I love the Hide and Sleek Criss Cross Cami, have it in beige and black and wear it almost every day because I just feel so flabby when I dont. Makes me feel toned.  It is not one of their super tight ones which is good because you can still breathe when you have it on.  For my tummy area, I am still using one that I got from Catherine's a while back. Hope this helps!
