Estute observation Frisco. Of course, I never unbuttoned pants after a pig out before vsg because I always wore elastic waist stretch knit pants because no jeans or tailored pants fit. Now I get to wear real jeans and hey, you are right, no strained buttons.   Diane

Same here!  I'm not quite 4 months out, so I don't have the history that you do, but I have to say that I do NOT miss post-meal misery!!!!

Emotionally, I don't have to deal with the guilt associated with overeating, even tho I feel full and content.

You know what I am looking forward to?

Going on a cruise (we have one scheduled for next June) and not being a slave to the food!  On previous cruises, after meals all we'd feel like doing was sleeping because we ate and drank so freaking much.  Missed out on alot of stuff because of that.  Not this time!  I am going to see what its like to not walk around with that uncomfortable sleepy stuffed feeling.

And definitely no unbuttoning the pants.  Well.  Related to eating anyway.  :D

I am going on a cruise in December and one in February---they have always been my achilles heel.  I have always gained weight or fallen off the diet wagon.  This time I no it won't happen.

Ditto.

Also, fitting in restaurant booths is no longer an issue or a form of torture.
