Scars

I'm curious. On the people who had WLS about a year or so ago. how does your scars look like today?

I'm only five months out I put Shea butter on them everyday and honestly the only one you can really see is the center incision.

I was commenting  to my husband that my scars look like little dots!  He said he noticed that.  I am only 1 month out.

I have 18 scars on my abdomen from the 4 abdominal lap procedures I had done in 16 months. I'm pastey white, and my scars are apparent, rosy/pink color.

 Hi I"m like Fancy only a few weeks post op and the only one you really see anymore is the center one although I still have alot of bruising on only one of them but the scar itself is almost invisible.

 I'm 2 and a half years out and can't even see them unless REALLY REALLY looking for them!

 I'm 5 mo. out this coming Tuesday and pale as can be.  I had 7 holes and they are still visible - the one just above my belly button looks the worst - it has a red/purple color.  The others have varying degrees of showing - one is just a rosy pink little line and others show more.  Because I am so pale, I think I will probably always have a little showing because of the difference in skin coloring.

I can tell you one thing - each one looks much better than my formerly big fat unmarked white belly - oh and my stretch marks are starting to fade considerably!   

im 2 weeks outs. they seem normal and smooth, however i am concerned because my scars turn to keloids (google it if youre not sure what it is, it aint pretty) fortunately my one current keloid is very flat and with the help of injections its getting flatter. if the surgery scars start to act up then my dermatologist will gladly continue treatment.
