OK....soooo a big part of my food prep theory....."Quick, Good and Right"

Nobody wants to spend two hour cooking for 3oz. of food......

Elina mentioned Stuffed Cabbage a month or so ago..... Couldn't get Stuffed Cabbage outta my head......

I was looking in the fridge.....All the parts were there for a de-constructed Stuffed Cabbage.....simplified.

Had Sausage....Cabbage and some leftover Tomato Basil Soup from the store.

- Split the sausage....grilled it "Open" or "Butterflied" so it would cook faster.....

- Pulled a few leaves of Cabbage.....wrapped it in "wet" paper towel......microwaved it for a couple minutes....

- Rolled the Sausage into the Cabbage.......Sliced it......

- Put a thin layer of hot soup in a bowl for gravy (lube)......Placed the little stuffed nug-gets in the soup/gravy!

Came out Great !!!!

I'm thinking winter with a bit more soup it's gonna be a killer meal !!!!

I swear you were reading my mind. My friend and I were just talking about stuffed cabages the other day, and we were trying to come up with a way that I could possibly eat them being just a few months out from surgery!

I LOVE this!!! Thank you once again Frisco. You are like our Bariatric Food Superhero!!

I don't know if my grandma would approve, but I'm all in.  Sounds awesome and looks easy to do.  Now that you got one for stuffed cabbage, maybe I should put you to work thinking about my stuffed bell pepper recipe.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.  :)

this looks great. If thats the tomato basil soup from costco, it makes a great sauce for chicken too. diane
