2 month surgiversary

Hey everyone!

Two months ago today I had my surgery. I am down 39.6 lbs and have lost 18 inches. LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!

Congratulations to you! I was sleeved two months (and a day) ago, too! Took my measurements this morning. I do measure a few additional places where I tend to carry weight, so I can more accurately track my change in size. So far, 32.8 lbs. down, and a loss of just over 41 inches.

This sleeve business is an awesome thing. I've always lost weight before but I gain it back every time. Congratulations to you for all of your hard work by sleeve sister!

Marie and IB40, are you both, two months post op and feeling more or less normal? Would you be able to travel on a long flight and go on a two week safari for example? In five star accomodations but with long drives on not always perfect roads?

Speaking for myself, I would be able to easily do it. I feel not only normal but energized and MUCH more able to do things than I was pre-op. I would make sure on the long flight that you get up frequently and walk to prevent blood clots.
I have no physical restrictions whatsoever. I should state that I had zero complications, thought the surgery was a breeze and recovered very rapidly.

My energy is still not 100 percent of what it could and should be, but I could easily go on vacation. The biggest obstacle I could see is that you may not be able to take protein snacks with you if you are going overseas. Other than that, I say "have a great time!"
