I found it hard to eat as much protein as I should (includes drinking them) initially so turned to some carbs that felt so much better in my new stomach.  I lost 18lbs in the first 3 weeks and nothing the last one week!  Am I being too impatient?  I've since been able to eat/drink more protein, but finding it hard to give up the carbs (all over again!)

Soft foods can be very carby, also high in salt. I had a weekend, two or three weeks out, where I gained four pounds from Friday to Monday!

There is a notorious three week stall. Just keep drinking water, get as much protein as you can, walk, and your body will catch up. Hang in there!

I'm in a stall too. My doctor said I need to be walking 10,000 steps a day. I'm working on it.

My stall lasted 9 days.  I had a 2 lb gain too.  Since then I'm down those 2 + 5 more.  This too shall pass.  Keep your eyes on the road ahead and not on your feet hitting the scale.
