BCBS APPROVAL

I want to reach out to anyone out there who has BCBS union Insurance in New Jersey.  This whole process has been unlike what I anticipated this to be.  I went to my first seminar and scheduled a visit with the Dr. to discuss surgery further on a one on one process I came out of there with a Surgery Date of Nov. 21.  I thought to myself Great the office is on top of everything.  I did all my requirements and it's exactly 7 days to my scheduled surgery date and my paperwork has not yet been submitted to my insurance company for approval!!!!

Is this a common thing and my insurance will approve or deny in 2 at most buisness days and pending they approve Will I be operated on Monday the 21st??

I called Insurance company and they advised me they approve or deny pretty quick.  I just can't see myself being operated on Monday if my doctor's office has not sent out my paperwork out yet!

I am soo stressed!!! This is playing with mind!!!!!

Sounds fishy to me. Did you do a 6 month monitored diet?
