Hi - I used to take Fish Oil pre surgery and was told not to take it immediately post surgery.  It's been 3 months...  OK to start taking my Fish Oil again???

I started taking mine far sooner than that, but your best bet is to check with your surgeon.

I suspect that this is another of those things that you should ask your doc, or whoever told you not to take them, as there are so many of these instructions that vary widely between surgeons. I've been taking them since the middle of the third month, when I was comfortable taking such big capsules again.

I'm 2.5 months out and have been taking my fish/flax seed oil pills for at least a month now. No one ever told me I shouldn't. May I ask why it's not good right after surgery?
