WOOOO!  Another December Sleever!  HOLLER!

Are you ready?  I'm so excited.  Nervous... but just can't wait.  The people I've shared with have said "Why would you do this before Christmas?!"  My response?  I can't think of a better time!  A great way to blow any stupid New Year's Resolution that I've ever made out of the water!

Good luck!  I'll let you know how it goes!

Hello, Autumn!  This is a great place to get encouragement and support.  I'm 52 and a Scorpio and more fun than... well, a really, really boring person.

Nervous is normal.  You will be surprised how quicly it will be over and you're on to your new life.  I too have been big all my life.  I was 185 lb when I was 13, and 254 lb when I graduated high school.  I lost 120 lb in OA, maintained for about 6-7 years, relapsed and gradually gained it all back and more.

My partner and I have 2 adopted daughters, grown now.  This surgery has been a very great thing for me.  I hope it is for you too!  I can already cross my legs, and I'm wearing 16ws and some regular 18s.  Way past even thinking about a two-piece at my age.  I am not up for plastics, too squeamish.

I have some major food addiction issues that aren't really fixed by surgery.  So I work every day to keep my head in the game and keep on track.  I read and post here a lot because I need the support.  There are lots of wise folks around and always lots of stuff to learn.

Welcome!

:) Happy

Hey!  It's awesome to meet you!

And I feel like you are so much more fun than a boring person!

It is so awesome to hear about people and their partners being adoptive parents.  Here in VA we are fighting that fight right now.  If I can't have my own, I will adopt.  SOOO cool.

Also!  I am ready to be able to cross my legs!  AHHHH!  So exciting to hear from real people the real things that they can do now!

GO YOU for working daily. I feel like it will take a daily commitment to get to my goal.  I have really benefitted from being a lurker, so I am excited that I have now joined the party and can help, too!

Well, anyone addicted to Twilight is my kinda girl! Lol! Welcome to the boards and congrats on your choice to make the best decision you will ever make in your life. Hang on tight because it's going to be a wild ride. Just follow the plan your doctor has provided and you will do wonderfully! We hope to hear more of your journey along the way but will keep you in my prayers for your upcoming surgery and again welcome!
