5-6 wks out - how many calories??
I am going into my 5th week and eat 650-800 calories a day.
I keep track on myfittnesspal.com. It is free and easy.
Trying to keep my carbs below 40 , but it doesn't always happen.
I am eating protien drink, deli turkey, string cheese, chicken, pork, cooked well so it is soft. Did your dr. give you a diet to follow??

For the first month yes, but starting with week five he said to make sure that I eat things high in protien, wait a lil longer on real spicey stuff, and something else that has left my head at this time! LOL. but pretty much just to try different things to see if I can tolerate it and making sure that I get my protien and liquids. I eat a lot of tuna and I had 3oz of chicken today...spread out in like at least an hour and a half. I figure that I'm hitting a bit of a stall because I havent been getting in enough. I get close on my protien and liquids but dont always reach it. and I dont think that Im getting even 600 calories a day.

As far as what I'm eating -
FF Cottage Cheese 1/2 cup
2 - 3 oz baked Tilapia
Black beans with salsa, cheese and a dolop FF greek yogurt
Baked Ricota from eggface (love it)
White beans with pesto
Eggbeaters scrambled
2 tablespoons hummus and 1 Babybel cheese round
FF Greek Yogurt with Torani SF raspberry syrup
Not a lot of variety - that's about it for now.
