pre op iI was a size 26 but iI had gone mostly from button up pants and wore slip on pants. about 1.5 weeks out iI tried on some 22's as iI dont have any 24's. of course they were too small but iI got an idea of my starting point. the buttons were a good 3 inches apart.

today iI decided to try them on again just to see...i can button them! I mean they are still too small and iI would look silly and like a stuffed sausage if I wore them now but they buttoned up. who knows... inanother 2 weeks I may even be able to wear them.

That's great! I highly recommend trying on stuff weekly. I missed out on wearing some of my stuff, many new with tags, because I waited too long to try them on. It's a great thing to do when you are in a stall because you usually lose more inches when the scale isn't moving. It gives you something positive to focus on!

Going down in sizes is a great NSV and confidence booster! I'm getting ready to be stuck in that middle ground between women's smallest sizes (14/16) and the largest regular misses' sizes. I'm still pretty curvy in the hips and soft in the belly so it will be interesting to see what I can fit into.
