Joined a running club!

So I joined a running club at work this week.  I'm just starting to run.  I dabbled in running about 10 years ago when I lost a bunch of weight on WW.  But haven't run in forever.

I have an old treadmill in my basement.  So I've started a Couch To 5K program. (google C25K)

Anyone else getting into running?  Any advice from the runners out there for a newbie?

Yay! Congrats. That's HUGE!

I really would love to start running myself, but I think I'm still too heavy and I'm not sure my poor knees could handle it. Maybe. One day.

Set your own goals and pay attention to your body.

I run 1 to 1.5 minute intervals 2-3 times per week.  I find it is usually necessary to get my heart rate up.  Otherwise, I do hill intervals.

Eventually, I may do something more formal.

Good Luck!!!
