What is your favorite brand and flavor of protein to add to your coffee?

I currently use a chocolate flavor protein from Target that has 140 calories and 25 grams of protein in two scoops.  I usually add a little under one scoop to milk, and then pour that into my coffee.  I wish there was a protein that didn't clump when added directly to hot coffee :(

I have done some research, and know that there are some proteins out there that have 1-1.5 less calories per gram of protein, but they are much more expensive (the stuff I get from Target is under $20 per tub, the same size tub at GNC is around $45 but it has 1.1 less calories per gram of protein).

I use Nectar Sweets- I get it at the Vitamin Shoppe on 42 just before Burnsville Center.  Yes, it's a little more- more like $35/tub.  But the protein is better quality (more absorbtion) and it's about 100 cal for 24 g. protein and no carbs/sugar.  I like vanilla, chocolate, and especially the latte.  I nuke my cup of milk for one minute then add the protein so it starts off pretty warm.  Then I slowly pour in the hot coffee.  No clumps and 32 g protein/190 cal/13 carb.  You could use hot tap water or other milk substitute for even fewer carbs/calories.  If I use decaff I also count this as my first 2 cups of liquid for the day.  This is often my breakfast, followed by a cheese stick later in the AM.  I am so cold now, that I need that hot beverage in my hand on the drive in to work.  I can't make the timing wrk to eat first then wait a half hour before the coffee...

Also, I'm on the Vitamin Shoppe's email list and sometimes I get good coupons.  I try to buy my tubs wen I get those.

I make protein coffee every morning. I use cheap walmart body fortress protein. It is $14 per tub, 26 g of protein per scoop, and 140 calories. It mixes well with my coffee. I usually take boiling coffee to work in a thermal cup. By the time I arrive at work the coffee is the perfect temp and I mix protein at work. I let it sit for a minute and it becomes the perfect consistancy. It seems the clumps melt or something, LOL!

I use Optimum Nutrition's Caramel Toffee Fudge at work ($47 for a 5-lb tub on Amazon).  I use Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle at home ($33 for 2-lb tub on Amazon).   I mix with almond milk then add coffee.  Yummy!!

Thats funny,  Thats exactly what I do.  I use the Syntax Nectar and mix with almond milk and add to coffee.  If you put syntax directly in the coffee it doesnt mix well.

I too, use the Nectar, but the Cappuccino flavor.  I also mix it with 2 oz. of skim milk then add a cup of my regular coffee.  It taste like those expensive Starbuck's coffees, but it's good for you :)

What?!

I am new.  I'm hoping to have the sleeve surgery in January or February.  I thought once you got the sleeve, coffee was not allowed.  This has been a major issue for me.  I've been trying to switch to decaf tea, but I love my coffee.

Soooo... you guys all still drink coffee?  No problems from the caffeine or acid?

Give up coffee??! Oh dear Lord! No, no never!  I have so much of it daily, between the regular stuff, and my Cuban cafe :)  No heartburn,  maybe twice in the past 3 years.  But that doesn't compare to the amount of heartburn I had when I was heavier!  I would consider that normal by any means.
