10 days postop and don't like ANY protein drinks...help!

OK stupid question --- Is there any way to do this without having to drink the shakes?  I cannot drink the shakes or even the egg whites without gagging.  My protein comes from finely minced chicken salad, cheese, Greek yogurt, milk, peanut butter, beans and nuts.  Is 40-50mg/day OK?

Have you tried Nectar's unflavored protein? That you can just add to your food or beverages and just blend. If you are a coffee drinker, you can take a vanilla or other flavored protein powder and add a scoop to black decaf coffee. The sweetness will take the place of sugar without being overly sweet.
