I have her blocked, and the funny thing is that I blocked her not for her craziness about VSG, but because she went off the deep end about my religion once. That was it for me, I have no tolerance for that at all.

On the other hand, she has an odd point, I do think that Dr. Cirangle is one of the best bariatric surgeons in the country, and although I don't get a single nickle for referring patients to him, I do recommend and refer people to him on a regular basis; people like my best friend. Diane, on the maintenance board also refers people to him on a regular basis; people like her husband. I am sure she also gets paid handsomely for that, NOT.

I think the real reason so many of Dr. Cirangle's patients stick around and post is that: 1) Many are successful long term and wish to share their success. 2) Many of us go to monthly support groups with Dr. Cirangle, so we feel a personal connection to him and to the research in the field. For many of us, the journey continues and stays alive through these support groups. We also socialize with each other at these groups, and that too builds a sense of community. We would like others to have a similar experience, both because of his technical skills and because of the aftercare.

To be fair, I wanted to add that yes, I did once get something from Dr. Cirangle, I got a plastic protein shake mixer, of course he gives one to all his patients. :)

To be fully transparent, I must also admit that I have received a similar plastic shaker.

Yep, you have been cheated Frisco.

The secret magic shaker bottle removes all calories from anything put inside it. So while you lost 150+ pounds by limiting calories and eating high protein, the rest of us ate five pounds of french fries and M & M's  per day by consuming them from our magic shaker bottles.

In fact, we had no surgery at all - just went to the hospital and got a $17,000 magic  shaker bottle.

Time for breakfast - four cinnabons stuffed into the magic shaker bottle.

This made me LOL. I'd like one of those magic shaker bottles please as my cinnabon/M&M/french fry diet is slowing down my weight loss these days... my surgeon only gave me a lame green plastic one that leaked so I threw it away. If only I had one like yours!

wouldn't it be great if it were true? everything that passes through the magic shaker has no calories and you can eat all the rotten stuff. but if one is ever invented we will all be SOL because we have no room for all that junk.  While there is no magic bullet, we have the next best thing.   Diane
