Is this normal?

So, I am 7 days post op and doing well.  I am experiencing some stomach cramping but it is not associated with eating or drinking.  It comes out of nowhere and lasts 5 seconds and goes away.  Anyone else? 

Yep sounds normal.  I get it too....and I am 3 weeks out.

Just imagine what is going on in there.....you just had your stomach cut vertically in half (well more than in half...but you know what I mean).

It's not too happy right now.

Are you on a PPI?  I had something similar and once I was put on a PPI it went away.  Good Luck.

I am only 1 day ahead of you and I have the same pain.  Usually it's after I take a small pill or have something cold.  Everything has to be lukewarm for me.  Hope this gives you some peace of mind that you aren't alone.  Good Luck.

Yup, I had this, too. It lasted about 3 weeks for me. I think it has something to do with the stomach "working" again...
