Do you find heels more tolerable to wear when you've lost a bunch of weight?
I had not wore a pair of heels in a long time. I was always afraid with my weight that they would not hold me or I would break my ankle. So I Went shoe shopping and found a couple pair that fit nice and comfy. Most had 4 inch heels. To my surprise, wore them all night had no problems and felt and looked good.
I would suggest finding a pair that is comfy to your feet. Your body is changing or has changed and if you are like me my feet have changed also.
Good luck and wear them like you own them and you will look and feel good also.

I have been thin in the past and back then I avoided heels. Now that I am thin again I find that platforms are bearable. Traditional heels over 3' --nope they hurt. My feet are very picky though. I have to get leather because man-made shoes KILL my feet.
Overall, yes heels feel better.

Marginally more tolerable, but then for me I've had trouble with heels my whole life, fat or thin, because I have a pinched nerve between #2 & 3 toes on one foot, so I have to be careful. The pressure on the balls of the feet from high heels make it worse. I think my age these days makes a difference too; although I've never weighed 135, I've never been 62 before either, haha!
Even so, recently I bought a higher heel than I've worn in years, like 3.5". I wore them to work, and they were fairly OK. They're pumps and slip off easily while I was sitting.

I LOVE my heels!! I have numerous pairs of the platform wedge sandals (one ridiculous 5 inch pair) and I wear them almost every day. I do work at an office job but I am up walking around all day long and my feel never hurt unless I stand for too long.
I cannot wear the stilettos because I dont have any balance so I find it hard to stay up right. LOL! I have always loved the platform wedges but was never able to wear them so I'm making up for lost time!!
We need to see a picture of you rockin' your new heels and party dress!!

Yes! LOVE THEM! I have sooo many and wear very high heels daily. My issue now is that I gave into the shoe demon(read as killer Guess, Michael Khors, Steve Madden heels), that now I have few that I consider "work appropriate", but I try. Now, my evening and weekend shoes are FUN :) plus I can wear them and dance all night. Before, I would have to pack "sensible shoes" in my bag. I'm loving it!

My coworkers, while they're cheering on my weight loss, are trying to get me into heels. As much as I love the look, I don't see it happening any time soon. I can't even find a pair of gym shoes to suit me! While my blood sugar has been good for over a year, I still have peripheral neuropathy issues and wide feet. So no cute cheap shoes for me
And average length pants are borderline short on me. I've seen my mom hunt for tall pants all my life. No thanks?
