Do you find heels more tolerable to wear when you've lost a bunch of weight?

Well, question for the ladies or the men... I don't discriminate here.  haha LOL

I've never been this thin in my life, so I truly have nothing to measure against.  Just wondering if wearing heels is more tolerable after losing a bunch of weight?  I just bought some killer heels this weekend to go with a new cute, rocking party dress.  They look fab with the outfit.  But, am I crazy to think I could walk around for a night in heels?  Or, like in the past, will I wear them for 20 minutes and ditch them because they are unbearable??

What's been your experience??

When I weighed like 50 pounds less I could walk forever in heels, it seemed my balance was better then too. But it depends on the shoe as well. :)

I have some heels I can prance around in all day. And then the super sexy ones-  not so much. It's a whole lot better (and I can walk around in them for a long time) but my feet still hurt if my toes are scrunched together or its rubbing in the wrong places - NORMAL shoe issues, nothing to do with my weight really :)

Skinny girls still complain about heels sometimes - beauty is painful :)

YES! They have been infinitely more tolerable since losing weight!  I've never been one to wear heels much, but I found a cute pair and actualy LIKE wearing them all day!

GAWD I miss my heels. :(  Damn heel spurs and plantar fasciitis!  I remember a time when I wore nothing BUT heels/platforms, but now, I can't tolerate them.  I had to wear heels for a large portion of a weekend recently, and my feet are STILL sore.  Oh, one day ... *daydream*

I'm an admitted shoeaholic. I have many pairs of Christian Louboutins (some over 4 inch heels). I wear high heels ALL THE TIME. I would love for them to feel better if I were thinner. I will say, I love love love silicon insert on the ball of my foot. They make them soooo much more comfortable. Just sharing

Can you recommend some leather brands -no more than $150?
I find the synthetic shoes to be torture on my feet.

What's your foot shape like? I think a lot depends on if you've got a high arch, flat foot, etc etc etc, and what kind of heels and support you've got. I've got a looooong way to go before I try stilettos (never worn 'em...my ankles are ridiculously weak and I can roll my ankle in flip flops), but I've noticed that I can tolerate a full day of work (7 hours) in 2-3" wedge shoes without changing shoes or limping now - even with my flat-as-a-board feet.
