Finally

I was struggling to maintain my goal weight, slowly losing a pound or so every week.  I am ok if I go down a little more but I am really happy where I am.  After meeting with my doctor last week, I was told I need to up my protein.  I did that by adding an extra meal in and eating some protein snacks every once in a while, as well as eating almost a half pound of beef jerky in one day.  I finally gained a pound!

But now I know I'll freak out that I gained a pound and I'll revert back to my minimum ways and lose it right back along with a few more I'm sure....

So I guess it goes both ways....when we're over weight we freak out about every pound and when we're small, we have the same issues.....

Pointless post but its pouring down rain and I figured I'd come on here and let you all know the way my brain works.....

Furthur, is it sad that I don't want to lose anymore weight because I am tired of buying new clothes?

Yes, yes it is.

Not a pointless post. Look at my ticker - we're in the same boat.

It's a combination of our small capacity and the sheer complexity of figuring out our maintenance calories. But I have confidence we'll both get there.

BTW - if you didn't want to lose that pound, why not let it stay? With all that beef jerky I'd bet you a dollar it's jus****er anyway.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

Oh yea...its all water....I've been drinking up to a  gallon a day....and for the last few days haven't been peeing as much as I would expect....so once tha****er decides to flush out, I'm sure I'll drop a few pounds....

I'm actually fine wherever I end up....I'm healthy and that is really the only thing I'm concerned with....could be in a much worse place so all is well :)
