Bone ache
I used to have very bad bone aches too - pre-surgery. Turns out my Vitamin D level was 17 when 34 is considered the lowest to go before hitting the danger zone. Research indicates many overweight people are deficient in Vitamin D. Might want to mention the aches to your PCP or see if they check your Vitamin D when your bariatric surgeon does your blood work in follow up visits.
In the meantime, can try getting out in the sun 10 minutes or so every day, take the Vitamin D supplement, and drink milk or other Vitamin D type drink.
If you are having arthritis issues, try working out in the pool. I go to arthritis aqua aerobics three times a week, 1/2 an hour to 1 hour each time. The jumping around in the pool helps my arthritis issues, keeping me limber enough to keep moving.
Good luck to you.
