Yesterday I spent about 10 hours emptying my kitchen because demo for a remodel starts tomorrow. Before surgery, one flight of stairs, especially carrying anything left me short of breath. I hated to admit it, but it really did. everything i took out of the kitchen had to go either up or downstairs. I think I may have climbed the eqivalent of the Statue of Liberty yesterday. I was never out of breath. I am not sore this morning. I still have a lot of work to do today. I am going to exercise first to get an energy burst before the work starts. Just a few things left in the kitchen, and I need to paint 160 feet of base boards. Woo hoo! Can't wait to see the new kitchen. PS- I have cooked and frozen enough meals to last until July to help keep me out of drive thrus during this process. I'll be living with just a fridge and microwave. If all goes well, I think it will take 3 weeks.

Your doing great, great exercise that spring cleaning..... Holy moly, painting the base boards, your really at it....   I forgot what surgery are you having?  I added a small convection/toaster oven to my kitchen before my sleeve and for me it between that and the microwave....   Whatever the surgery, I pray, it goes perfect and a speedy recovery.....

Hey Pooch!  I'm having a radical kitchenectomy with floor enhancemement and cabinet and counterspace enlargement.  The baseboards I am painting are not installed yet so that will make it easier fo me.  No actual surgery for awhile because I may have just blown the plastics fund.

Thanks.  I didn't think of it as an NSV, but I guess it was.  it just felt so good to be fit enough to do it.  I never could have done it last year.

Good Job!  Get you a fit bit, it'll tell you the equivalent of what you climbed.  I did the equivalent of the Great Pyramid yesterday!

I hope the remodel goes well, I think construction can be more stressful than our surgery LOL!
