Way to go! I am starting a c25k program today and hopefully can do the same in a couple of months.

That's how I did it, I loved the C25K. I am not fast and I still have trouble finishing, but it's a heck of a lot better then I could do just six months ago! You will be all over the 5k's in a couple of months, it gets addicting (good thing is that most of the entry fees are tax deductible LOL).

That's awesome!! Congrats! Love the pic at the tunnel line.

I'm training for a 10k on June 9... I'm nervous and worried that I won't be able to run the whole thing. But I'm going to finish even if I have to walk some.

Don't worry, even if you HAVE to walk a bit you are still doing something that most people won't even attempt in their LIFETIME! I bought a t-shirt that says "If it was easy, everyone would do it!" and I just keep that in my head and keep pushing! You are going to do fantastic!

Wow! Amazing! I have NEVER been able to run, even when I was smaller. Just not something I enjoyed. But there are so many people having surgery and losing a ton of weight and then doing all these runs! It's great :) Hope I can get there one day!!

Take care :)

Thanks! Seeing all the pics of other people doing it made me get my butt out there, I don't run every 5k I enter I walk many of them, but even doing that makes me so proud of myself! You will get there, just set yourself a goal and work towards it, little steps and before you know it your doing things you never thought you could.
