Hi---- Is there anyone having their vsg in Puerta Vajarta around June 13th? I am going by myself and thought maybe someone may be going at the same time. If so we could meet at the hospital or hotel. It would be good to talk to someone who will be taking this journey at the same time as me. Please let me know. Thanks

Are you having surgery with Dr Joya? I just ask cause I have researched him and know he's located there.

HW 302 lbs. SW 279.8 lbs. CW 193.8 lbs MFP Jarabacoagirl Preop diets 22.2 lbs, 1st month 21.2 lbs, 2nd month 14.6 lbs, 3rd month 11.2 lbs, 4th month 7 lbs, 5th month 7 lbs, 6th month 6.8 lbs, 7th month 5.2 lbs, 8th month 4.4 lbs 9 and 10th months slowed down didn't record exactly

108.2 lbs lost from highest weight!

(86.2 lbs of that was lost since surgery date)

yes I am. I did alot of research on him after someone I know had his lapband done there. Watched a lot of ytube videos as well. Whwn do u think u willbe having your vsg done?

Sorry did not see the rest of your post about when. I am also a self pay. If you go to Dr Joya .com I think it talks about a loan you can get for vsg, Hope this helps

Yes I have researched him, Dr Alvarez and Dr Aceves. But now I'm leaning towards going local only because I'm thinking post surgery flying so far on an airplane could be quite uncomfortable because of some additional health problems i have.

I had a great experience with Dr Aceves in Mexicali. The flight back home to Canada, with layovers was 16 hrs I was fine. AsK for wheelchair assistance and help lifting your bag. You will be fine.

Back to Dr. Joya......

You will be fine traveling alone. I went alone for my surgery. When you get to the hospital to register, you will be introduced to the other patients having surgery with Dr. Joya. I met 2 wonderful ladies that I am still in touch with. We walked the halls together and hung out at the hotel after being dismissed. You will do great!
