I'm not much of a shopper.  Hopefully some of you are!  I'm going to Hawaii in late June, and am looking for some sort of pants, capris or shorts to wear.

I have a round shape and my problem is that anything that fits my waist hangs way loose on my legs.  For example, I have a pair of khaki shorts from LL Bean that fit in the waist but my legs look like toothpicks sticking out of an elephant's drawers!

So what I'm looking for is something stretchy on top, but not leggings.  Maybe something sort of like yoga pants, that flare a bit at the bottom but fit the thighs nicely.

If you have any ideas--especially online--please share!  I'm not the only apple-shape here, surely?

Thanks!

Try Old Navy, they have a lot of different styles and I think they have a way of making the pants fit the waist and the thighs/legs nicely.

I have a square shape, which makes me look boyish!  Doesn't help that I'm a tomboy at heart, either.  So I've had to educate myself a bit on what's going to look best on me.     And for that, God bless the internet.  Try a google search on "how to dress apple shape woman" and you'll find a bunch of ideas.  Here's a few:

Have a fantastic time in Hawaii!  Hubby and I went for the first time in December and it was awesome!

Hi there, I use to live in Honolulu, Hawaii.  The best place to buy on line is QVC, Quaker Factory has great pants and tops.  They arrive quickly and are very stylish.  Shoes that worked for me was something called "Fitflops" Macy's have them.  Also check Ross' or Marshalls" or TG Marxx.

Ask any questions.

I haven't looked at QVC in years, but I used to watch all the time!  I'll check out that website.  Thanks for the rec.

Have you thought about wearing dresses?  I am an apple shape and pre-op but in the summer I love to wear dresses. I have the same problem with pants ,saggy in legs ,tight on waist!

We tend to do hiking and stuff that I would feel uncomfortable doing in a dress.  But I am going to look for one or two to wear at times!
