Yeah, you look fantastic!! A comment like that can be a real blow to the ego. I would have been ticked off too. Especially after all the hard work you've done to get where you are.

Sometimes people just talk without using their brains. Brain farts!

It may not have been intentional though. The woman may have felt embarrassed herself and wanted to kick herself after realizing what she actually said.

I know I've had a few brain farts in my day.

Who knows. Try not to dwell on it.

Hey Maryposa, I just wanna tell you that I have followed you on lowcarbfriends for a long time and you are one of the reasons that helped me make my decision to get VSG. I always thought you were an inspiration and I really wouldnt worry about what she thinks, I mean seriously, maybe shes one of those people with a screw or two loose. I have looked at your pictures many times, and you have done fabulous! I only hope to have results as excellent as you!

Hey, some people are just mean. I had a woman at work tell me, after she had met my sister through a mutual friend, "oh your sister is so much prettier and thinner than you". I wouldn't say anything like that to my worst enemy. I think she was just jealous of you.

I agree with everyone else... definitely jealousy over there!

Just an observation though...
You seem to be very upset by what is clearly not true (you are not big enough for surgery) but I wonder, as you mention that if you are being honest, you are upset cause it's a giant fear. You also mention you don't have any full length mirrors in your house...Have you worked on the head stuff too?? 

I say this, cause I'm sort of in the same boat!

Keep your chin up, you have lost TONS of weight and that lady is a dufis!

I just wanted to say that your videos were one of the 1st ones I saw when I decided on the VSG. At the time it was so helpful to see a post op VSG person that has been successful for a "long" time. I realized that I could do this. Thank you.
And you are still rocking that sleeve.
