New Flavor Ideas - mixing Torani syrups and Mio

Just sharing.  MAny of you know that I am a Mio fan - for my water a greek yogurt.  I also like some of the Torani syrups - especially good if you are in the modd for sweets.

For some reason, I never thought of mixing the two until recently.

For example, today I combined the caramel sugar free torani syrup with the Mango Peach Mio in my my yogurt.  You can mix these in water too for something that tastes like a mixed tropical drink.

Gotta Say - YUM.  NIce desert like treat.

Yesterday I mixed some hazelnut and chocolate sugar free syrups.  Hello, healthy nutella!  Strain the yogurt overnight if you want it extra thick and creamy.

Just playin around.  If you don't like artifical sweetners this may not be for you.  IF anyone finds a good calorie free apple flavoring let me know - I want to mix that with the brown sugar cinnamon torani like a pie filling.  All the ones I found tatsed nasty or had carbs/calories.

I am going to have to try that. I am not a fan of the SF syrups yet, I just dont think I have really learned how to use them right yet, but Mio is my favorite!!!

HA HA, my Dad is an alcoholic (not recovering, he still drinks like a fish) and he came to visit the kids and saw all my bottles and asked me if we needed to have a talk about my "problem". I just rolled my eyes and showed him that they where sugar free syrups, he thought it was liquor! LOL I literally have about 14 bottles going right now, and like 10 still unopened. I love Amazon bulk order! LOL

For reals gurl, I recently got all crazy with these syrups.  I can blame Alison for this too because she gave me a few bottles.  She also told me what she mixes with her shakes so of course, I had to buy a boatload more of these sugar free syrups to make her creations.

BTW, love your new avi with the new cute do!!!

I don't know what it is, but I just CAN'T dig that Mio. I love the Torani, but the Mio just makes me kind of gaggy.

I am officially obsessed with Crystal Light Appletini and Peach Belini mix, awesome for sipping by the pool!

Funny, I am the exact opposite.  After surgery Crystal light just tasted so acid to me it was like drinking pool chemicals.  I have a ton of Crystal light that I havent touched since November that I bought pre-op.

The other thing that bummed me out about the CL was the calories.  I may try it again when I am transitioning to maintenance and have the extra calorie budget.

I am also thinking that mixing the chocolate and haxelnut in the greek yogurt and then runnng it through an ice cream machine for softserve frozen yogurt would be an awesome summertime treat!
