Hi everyone

I am going back to work next week my Surgery was 4 Jun and I return to work a month and a day later.  My question is

When can I wear Spanx?  I have lost over 80 lbs in the last two years and I need something to keep that panni up/in/flat whatever.

Thanks Lorna

I don't see why you couldn't wear Spanx right now. I'm having a lot of pain still (my surgery was 2 days after yours) from incisions and so I HAVE to wear my spanx or I'm in a ton of pain.

Revised from band to sleeve on June 6th, 2012. Lost 48 pounds on my own in the 4 months prior to revision.

I agree, I don't see why you can't wear the spanx right now. I also bought the kind from Target. I would just make sure to buy the right size in the bottoms. They have some kind of plastic strip at the top to hold them up on your abdomen and if you buy it too small you can still squeeze into them but then they roll down ALL the time. I'm 4'11" and wear a 14/16 and I wear the XL comfortably with no rolling but just one size up at 16/18 the rolling down was driving me crazy.

Note: Target sells a knockoff brand of SPanx ( not really knockoff since made by same person who invented SPanx) but at a cheaper price...called assets... ( why do I know the profanity filter is gonna kill this post)

A$$ETS!

I think I own the entire line of Spanx products and really never stopped wearing them. I of course was in pj's for a week after surgery but when I went back to work, I started wearing them again. I wore them before surgery also, so I always feel odd without them. I just feel more "togehter". Flexees, at Macy's also has come great products. I guess whichever one you feel more comfortable in. I love the Spank tank with the open bust so you can wear your own bra and I love the tummy flattener with the legs. My two must have products! Good luck to you~!
