Pain when eating

Ok so I'm 5 days post op and want to make what I'm feeling is normal. Fortunately the muscle aches are subsiding and gas is up and down. Now when I drink or eat after like 3 bites, I have a tightness in my stomach and a bit of uncomfortable pain. This also happens if I accidentally drink a bigger drink than a small sip. Is THIS my sleeve telling me I'm full?

hmmm I'm not sure, but I want to remind you to take teeny tiny bits and chew chew chew.  My full signal was a tiny burp or hiccup.  If my nose started running while I was eating, I knew I had taken at least one bite too much.  Everyone's full signal is different, but you will begin to notice a pattern and you just need to remember to listen to your body.  Hang in there!  The first few months are really hard because what used to be 'normal' is completely different now.  :)

Haha when I say eating, I am only talking about SF JELLO and Popsicles.I'm still on full liquids for at least another weeks before soft foods.

I went home from the hospital on mushies, so I thought you might be on the same type of plan.  I don't know then if jello and popsicles are making you feel this way.  Never be afraid to call your dr if something doesn't feel quite right.

I think I figured it out. 1st I'm calling the soc tomorrow. 2nd, I'm thinking the larger drinks that I seem to accidentally have bring in some extra air and it is causing some gas pains. I've noticed if I slow down and then wait between sips and bites of jello I'm ok. I will say this is a HUGE adjustment for me because I am the one known for drinking 16oz at one time. :(

I am on a plan with my doc and haven't gone off that for fear of a leak. Just gotta slow down.
