OT: Fashion/nice dress

The good thing about the pics is that they showed me how much more work I have to do.  The good thing about not seeing the pics before the wedding is that I felt "slim" that night.  Well, compared to 2X, I was!

I'm looking for one that shows me off to best advantage.  So far I am seeing batwing arms and refrigerator box body.  However, I do have great legs.  In fact I thought the mother of the bride was wearing a long maxi and thought maybe I should, too, but my friend said, "No, your legs are the one thing that always look great. Don't cover them up."

Since I don't have much waist and do have a tummy I didn't wear the belt and it hung/draped very nicely.

This was my baby, my last to get married, and we were ready for him to--he and the new daughter have been together for nine years!  But this was the first time without my mother there, and that was hard.  It was hard on him, too.  Twice he teared up, both times having to do with grandparents or her in particular being mentioned
