Shopping, transfer addiction....

 how do skinny people keep from going broke? I swear if I don't chill my husband is going to divorce me  but everything look so cute on me now that I have the overwhemling need to buy everything. Now our local Fashion Bug is going out of business, and I have coupons burning a hole in my pocket,  I swear it takes all my willpower not to go there every day. 

I have never been a shopper, but now it's so fun.

Being thin has opened up a whole new can of worms for me, instead of going though every drive thru for food, I am hitting every store on my way around town looking for deals. It's bad when the clerks start to know you by name  

 I cant wait to get to this place! Hahaha. my advice? Don't waste fashion bug coupons! Use em! 

 LOL I just called my mom and promised her half my coupons, that saves me from using 12 of them, it's pretty crazy. After settling for cloths that fit all my life, I can finally be picky and buy the ones that are cute, its a bit intoxicating :) 

Seriously...tell me about it!!!!! Everytime i go in a store and they offer me a credit application, i think about it for a minute before I run out covering my ears!!!


I need to hurry up and get my butt to goal so i can build a wardrobe and stop buying crap that only fits for a couple months (if im lucky).

 I don't do the credit stuff b/c I know then my hubs really WOULD divroce me since he pays the bills, I just make sure to sign up for all the cash back stuff on my main card LOL

 Omg I know. It's so bad. I was married to someone who paid no attention to what I did. I now have over 100 dresses, 100 pairs of pants, 200 tops, 60 jackets, 40 belts.... It goes on and on. My new bf is always out with me, shopping n hanging out. He notices every new top i buy and he's like baby... If you buy everything that looks good you'll end up with everything. Lol.... I think I want everything tho, that's the problem. I have to remind myself I need to save my money for boobies..... But I too no longer frequent jack in the box. I was there last week for tea and the cashier informed me he missed me... So that's a good sign. 

 The only reason I don't have that many is b/c the kids are on summer vacation and they are a nightmare to take into any store so my time is limited. When they all go back to school (and even the littlest is headed to school in Sept!), I might have to have my husband take my cards to work with him so I can't do too much damage LOL

I haven't even had surgery yet, and I am already suffering from this addiction. Is tha possible? I am spending on things like a digital food scale, a cuisinart ice cream maker to make protein ice cream, a kindle fire - since I don't have a smart phone, I can use it to log my food intake on myfitnesspal.com, tiny spoons for early post-op, etc. Sheesh! I am in trouble!

Courtney, I love your 1st sentence! I'm seriously still chuckling ova here!! Yes gurl, the shopping has taken over. The only reason I am not giving all my hard earned money to Nordstrom Rack is becuz I am not at goal yet but hot damn, I better watch out! Old Navy & their clearance rack along with their extra 30% off have been my friends lately. I was trying on junior dresses at Nordstrom Rack just for sh**s & giggles yesterday but I was sad to leave without buying clothes from there. Thanks to Alison, now I have a bad addiction to just trying on clothes but then sulking after becuz I don't buy everything I want!
I bet it's nice to be at goal & build your wardrobe. You deserve it gurl!! Spend that money!!!

Well, there is such a thing but as long as you're spending within your means and not racking up CC debt then have at it!!

I'm not a shopper either but I have girlfriends and sisters who are psyched to take me out and teach me the ropes. And I have put a TON of stuff in my cart at www.modcloth.com. :)
