Damn, I was just thinking how much I WISH i had days like that. I just wanna eat all the time

Trust me, somewhere around 6 months out, things flip around and you'll be praying for days like these. Enjoy them while they last.

I'm with Allison, enjoy it now.  I'm doing fine and will be 7 months out on the 22nd, BUT I remember not being hungry -- now my sleeve won't really let me over eat, BUT I do feel hunger and it is definately not gas!!!  Eventually you have to have willpower to not eat the wrong things and by the way Allison....congrats on not having popcorn!!!

well early on you do have to force yourself to get the protein down but it gets easier. be thankful that you don't feel hunger. it will help you lose weight. turn your anger into action by exercising or otherwise doing things to promote your weight loss. you will feel better soon.  diane

I hear and understand your anger. It seems like all we do is think about food now, but not like we used to. Now it's all about making sure we get all the fluids, protein and vitamins that we need. I'm only 5 days post op, but each day is getting a bit easier. It's good to be able to come here and get the support and vent when you need to. Keep doing what you're doing. The results will so be worth it!

I know you are venting and that is good. However, I must say congratulations to you because you have moved from "living to eat" to "eating to live". That is huge.

Try to look at it in the positive instead of the negative. We HAVE to eat, fact of life. The thing is ,now YOU are in control like you nervier were before and so you eat to live cause you won't like the consequences if you don't,trust me.

So get on a schedule and eat when it is time and you are good to go. Congratulations!
