Don't know if you missed Ms. Shell's Post from Yesterday.......A must Read......

Great in-site from Someone *****ally cares and wants to share......

http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/vsg/4556396/quotWhere-are-they-nowquot-4-year-8-month-VSGer/

She has a response to my post that reads........"This NEW crop needs us even if they don't know it YET!!!"

and

"There comes a time in this journey when we are YEARS after and look around and start to feel as lost as the first day trying to navigate."

I'm glad she mentions these because I/we read posts daily that give you the impressing they really got this figured out.......even though they might not even be at goal and have no clue what things are like years out..... (this includes myself).

There is much varied information here about the surgery and weight-loss.......but very little about long term (years out) trials and tribulations.......Most long term patients are long gone for a number of reasons both good and not so good........

Please take the time to read this Posting........

Thank you so much for alerting me to this post.  I never go on the main board, for some reason, and would have missed it.

I am a 4 year WLS surgery veteran, and I can tell you that old habits can easily creep back.........obesity  has to be fought
every
single
day

Thanks, Frisco!!

I have always loved Ms. Shell and I have great respect for her journey and the struggles she is facing.  If there was a team for WLS, I would want to be on hers.  ( You can probably tell that I have watched way to much of the Olympic coverage).
